1800 year old Roman silver Denarius coin from the reign of Elagabalus

This 1.800-year-old silver coin is in exceptionally fine condition. It is a scarce coin due to the very short, 4 year, reign of Elagabalus. It is a silver Denarius from the reign of the Roman Emperor Elagabalus, who became emperor in 218 AD, at the age of 16. His very brief reign (218-222 AD) was marked by sexual excesses and scandals. He and his mother were killed by their own guards in 218 AD and their bodies were thrown into the Tiber River as a mark of disrespect.
